PROJECT LEAD AND CHIEF DESIGN

Alberto Apostoli is considered one of the most influential and awarded architects in the Wellness & SPA world.

He graduated in architecture from Venice in 1993 and embarked on an innovative path within his profession, exploring pioneering approaches and themes in his projects.

In 1997, he founded Studio Apostoli, a globally recognized design and consulting firm that has been operating for over 26 years. With a team of 30+ professionals and a portfolio of more than 60 international awards, the firm has executed projects in over 20 countries. Studio Apostoli has established collaborations with leading hospitality and wellness brands, including Lefay Resorts, Cipriani Group, Four Seasons, Hilton, Discovery Land Company, and others. Alberto has also designed iconic projects and products for renowned brands like Jacuzzi and Varaschin, contributing to the expansion of the wellness sector into new markets.

Alberto is the author of the book “Architettura delle SPA,” and his work has been featured in numerous magazines and books, solidifying his expertise and influence in the field.

He is an esteemed member of several think-tank teams in the Wellness & SPA sector, such as the Sustainable SPA Association based in London, of which he has been a founding member since 2020. For decades, Alberto has actively participated in conferences, webinars, and outreach activities around the world.

Annarita Di Giacomo began her career in the tourism industry, where she coordinated prestigious events for national and international clients before moving on to become Head of Strategic Communication and Promotion for major Italian companies. With a degree in Psychology, Annarita utilizes her understanding of human behaviour to guide her choices and relationships in her professional endeavours.

Between 2004 and 2013, Annarita worked with Terme di Saturnia, gaining extensive experience in spa management and acquiring international expertise in the world of wellness. She held various positions, including Spa Consultant, Customer Care Manager, Spa Operations Manager, and eventually Spa Manager. Her achievements included bringing Terme di Saturnia Spa into the esteemed “Leading Hotel of the World” circuit, with the prestigious “Leading Spa” certification mark in 2008, awarded through an international LHW evaluation and certification program for the world’s most luxurious spas. Annarita also collaborated on the scouting and production of cabin cosmetics.

In 2014, Annarita was recruited by Mandarin Oriental for the opening of their first spa in Italy, where she assumed the role of Director of Spa & Wellness. She oversaw all aspects of strategic planning, operational management, marketing, and customer care. In 2019, she played a key role in the re-branding and opening of the Mandarin Oriental SPA at Lake Como, including training and standards, as well as scouting the Spa Manager. In 2021, she successfully directed the opening of the prestigious Spa at the Mandarin Oriental Ritz Madrid Hotel.

Annarita’s personal philosophy is based on the values of extraordinariness and personalization. She believes in utilizing technology, innovative concepts, and constant research to create a unique spa experience that differentiates itself from others. She emphasizes staff training for optimal operations and efficiency, while also prioritizing the importance of relationships and the ability to convey emotions in creating exceptional spa experiences.

CHIEF BRAND AND COMMUNICATION

Enrico Della Casa is a highly motivated executive and entrepreneur with a wealth of international experience in branding and communication across various industries and ventures. He began his professional career as an executive for renowned luxury brands such as Asprey-Garrard, Riva-Yacht, and Ferrari, serving markets in Europe and the Americas for over a decade.

Subsequently, Enrico has successfully developed high-end residential single-family homes on a global scale through privately owned companies. He has also held executive roles and served as a partner responsible for branding and communication in several start-up ventures in the energy transition, electro-mobility, and hospitality & wellness sectors for a family-office company based in Boston, MA.

In recognition of his outstanding contributions, Enrico and his business partners were awarded the title of best wellness offering & facilities for The Americas at the prestigious World Spa and Wellness Awards in London in 2021. Enrico has also been appointed as an Advisory Board Member of Gharieni Group, a leading German manufacturer of wellness technologies equipment.

Furthermore, Enrico is a partner in an Italian-based Branding and Communication agency. He holds a degree in Political Science from the University of Bologna, Italy. Enrico’s unwavering enthusiasm for global design, architecture, technology, and innovation is unmistakably reflected in his dynamic lifestyle, which spans across three incredibly diverse nations: Mongolia, Italy, and the USA.
